I’m not doing NaNoWriMo, per se, but I have decided to write a short story in November. I have been working for pay much more in recent months and my fiction has taken a back seat. Rather than try and dive back into any of my long-form projects, I’m going to give myself a 10K word goal on a complete (and completely new) story and hopefully edit and polish it by the end of the month as well.
I will be sure and let you know how it goes. Hopefully I’ll have a story for you in December!
I have to apologize for falling off the blogging wagon for so long. My main excuse is a broken wrist which has kept me from writing much more than can be thumb-typed on a phone keyboard.
But also, I’ve just been lazy. I have some posts to share with you, but I’m also interested in hearing from you (if indeed you are even still around!) if there is anything you’d like to hear about in my reading or writing life.
So drop me a message in one of my various electronic outlets (including, of course, this one!) and let me know if you have a burning question.
Just a little reminder that you can snag a copy of Eden for kindle for the low, low price of .99 today until Friday.
I have closed the Eden blog while I revise and edit the story for e-publication. If you didn’t get a chance to finish reading and would like to, please email me and I can “invite” you to read the blog.
I originally thought I was going to publish it more or less as it was on the blog, but as I go over it I find I am revising enough to want to pull that version. If I have time, I might go back and put the revisions on the blog, but for now, I’m just working on the book version.
But I didn’t intend to leave anyone hanging! So do ask if you need access to finish up.
